SEA continues to operate as a family environment with a dedication to quality work.This position will be mentored by one or more Senior Sales Representative(s). The Account Representative is responsible for managing customer relationships with customers targeted for growth. Responsibilities and duties include growing sales with assigned customer base and with new customers, learning and developing knowledge of all SEA products, performing telemarketing efforts on a daily basis to qualify sales opportunities, evaluating sales opportunities, responding to customer requests and communications regarding product availability, preparing final quotes for customers, following up with customers to ensure the business is captured and adjusting as needed to maximize wins, entering orders for order entry process, monitoring service level of customer regarding on time shipment, rejections, problem orders, back orders, and resolving incomplete orders, complying with all federal laws and regulations as they relate to the aerospace and military product industry, and maintaining and otherwise handling trade secret and proprietary information belonging exclusively to SEA Wire and Cable, Inc.Qualifications and skills include minimum high school education or equivalent; college degree preferred, experience in sales and/or program management is preferred, excellent customer service skills, ability to manage day-to-day activities and exercise independence and adaptability, good written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively interact with a variety of personnel at all organizational levels, ability to meet prioritized set objectives and goals, basic math skills, comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Power Point, and strong Power Point presentation skills.Physical requirements include essential physical requirements such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
