TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Jerseyville, Illinois, 62052!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience is required. License: Must have an active RN license. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required. Must-Have: - Strong endoscopy procedure experience. - Experience with GI Lab, outpatient surgery, and infusion. - Familiarity with Olympus scopes, ERBE, polyp snares, foreign body equipment, opioid analgesics, reversal agents, colonoscopy, ERCP, EGD, and specimen handling/labeling. Description: Position requires an ASAP start. This is a four-day, nine-hour shift position. Shifts will be from Tuesday to Thursday. After eight hours of procedures, the last hour will typically involve assisting in the department. RTO must be discussed with management during the interview. Previous charge experience is a plus. Previous travel experience is preferred. Cerner experience is required. Job involves administering and monitoring conscious sedation. Skills required include airway management and IV placement. The unit provides outpatient endoscopy services. Patient age group is adults with an average daily census of 11. Equipment used includes Olympus scopes.
