About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Must have a current state license in hand to be considered Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is a plus - Experience with GI Lab, outpatient surgery, and infusion - Familiarity with Olympus scopes, ERBE, polyp snares, foreign body equipment, and opioid analgesics - Knowledge of colonoscopy, ERCP, EGD, specimen handling, and labeling - Previous travel experience is preferred Description: This position requires an ASAP start for a 4x9 hour shift, scheduled Tuesday through Thursday. The majority of the shift will be spent in procedures, with the last hour typically assisting in the department. Responsible for monitoring conscious sedation and recovery of patients. Candidates will be required to discuss any time-off requests with the manager during the interview process. Experience with the Cerner charting system is required.
