Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
The Newark, CA plant is currently accepting resumes for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic . This position is responsible for general maintenance with mechanical and minor electrical skills.
What is the Job?
- Understanding and knowledge of complex, pneumatic and/or hydraulic processes.
- Perform routine and schedule maintenance on process equipment to maintain uptime.
- Fabrication as needed.
- Perform inventory existing parts and report use for reorder.
- Maintain work area according to plant standard for safety, efficiency and cleanliness.
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two (2) or more years related experience and/or training.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Lift and/or move 60 pounds and more.
What is the Pay?
- Pay Range depends on experience, which is determined through the interview process: $33.25 - $41.29 per hour (there are levels within this range).
What is the Work Schedule?
- Must have open availability and Weekend availability is required. Typically, the shift is 6 am – 2:30 pm but in the event of long projects or emergencies, we may require longer shifts.
- Probability of Call-In, Overtime and Nights / Weekends.
