Keep Production Running on First Shift

A plastics manufacturer is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. This is a hands-on maintenance position responsible for diagnosing equipment problems, completing repairs, and keeping production machinery operating reliably.

Previous plastic molding-machine experience is preferred, but it is not required. Candidates with solid industrial maintenance experience and a strong mechanical background may be considered. PLC knowledge and electrical troubleshooting experience are valuable additional strengths.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on production and molding equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and identify the source of failures
• Complete preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery
• Repair, replace, and adjust mechanical components
• Support electrical diagnostics and PLC-related troubleshooting based on experience
• Use equipment manuals, diagrams, and technical information to complete repairs
• Document completed maintenance and communicate equipment concerns
• Work with production employees to reduce downtime and restore equipment operation
• Maintain an organized personal toolbox and work area

What We're Looking For

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and hands-on repair ability
• Experience maintaining plastic molding machinery preferred
• PLC knowledge or industrial electrical troubleshooting experience strongly preferred
• Ability to diagnose equipment failures instead of simply replacing parts
• Dependable availability for the full first-shift schedule and overtime as needed
• Ability to work independently and prioritize active equipment issues
