Assistant/Associate Professor

Overview Department of Restorative Dentistry is inviting applications for multiple full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty positions (Assistant/Associate Professor) at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. Responsibilities Provide pre‑doctoral education in fixed, removable, implant prosthodontics, occlusion, biomaterials, and operative dentistry. Conduct pre‑doctoral clinical teaching. Participate in the Departmental Master of Dental Science degree program. Engage in scholarly activity, research, and service. Teach and/or direct preclinical courses, advise students, and lecture in departmental courses as directed. Serve on committees and perform other duties as assigned by the Chair. Position will remain open until filled. Requirements DDS/DMD or equivalent dental degree. New Jersey State dental license, or eligibility for a license or New Jersey Limited Teaching Certificate in Dentistry. Faculty experience preferred in academic teaching and research. Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous academic teaching and proven research experience. Leadership experience.
