Come join our team of dedicated educators and help support their instruction by assisting students with remedial work, independent studies, specialized areas of need and/or enrichment programs. Full Time 10-month position available at Spring-Ford's Royersford Elementary School. Experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not required. Must meet the Paraprofessional Highly Qualified Requirements: individuals are required to hold an Associate's degree or higher, or have earned at least 48 credits post-secondary training or have passed a rigorous local assessment in reading, writing and mathematics. Hourly Rate: $20.50/hour Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Days/Year: 185 Growth opportunities are available including: Registered Behavior Technician training, ABCTE Teacher Certification Program, and mentorship opportunities. Pathways to becoming a special education teacher are available through a partnership with Point Park University for the ABCTE program. This position is part of the PSERS retirement system.
