Instructional Assistant (part-time) - 21st Century - West Chester School District 26-27 SY JobID: 4404 We are seeking Part‑time Instructional Assistants for the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program, Student Services Division of CCIU. Assist elementary school students, including English Language Learners and academic support students. Qualifications High school diploma required Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred Experience working with the applicable age group preferred Computer and current technology knowledge required Act 33 and 34 clearances and federal criminal history background check (available through CCIU upon hire) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Duties & Responsibilities Assist with planning and implementation of supplemental educational programs Maintain regular communication with participating students’ parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators, as necessary Facilitate parent involvement in the education of their children, using translation/interpretation services as needed Plan and implement parent involvement activities within the 21st Century Community Learning Center program Locations Starkweather Elementary Fern Hill Elementary Hillsdale Elementary Hourly Rate (2026-2027 School Year) Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 9 years experience) – $19.38 Master's degree (equivalent to 15 years experience) – $23.19 Equal Opportunity Employer Chester County Intermediate Unit is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
