Veterinarian

Associate Veterinarian – Wellness & Preventative Care

SAHO Animal Hospitals is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who is genuinely passionate about wellness, preventative medicine, and building lasting relationships with pets and their families. While SAHO is known for our advanced capabilities and ability to manage complex and urgent cases, we also believe exceptional veterinary care starts long before a pet becomes sick. We're looking for a doctor who shares that philosophy—and who would be excited to help us continue growing the wellness and preventative care side of our practice.

For the DVM Who Loves the "Everyday" Parts of Veterinary Medicine

Maybe your favorite appointments are the ones where you get to know a new puppy and their family. You enjoy helping clients understand nutrition, behavior, dental health, parasite prevention, weight management, and what their pet may need as they move through different stages of life. You value continuity of care. You like knowing your patients, following their progress, and becoming the veterinarian a family trusts year after year. If that sounds like you, there is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at SAHO.

What You'll Find at SAHO

You'll join an established, collaborative veterinary team with the resources to provide excellent care from routine wellness through more complex medicine. Our Owasso hospital offers a modern, 20,000-square-foot facility, experienced support staff, advanced diagnostics, and access to colleagues with a wide range of clinical interests. This opportunity also comes with the future potential to grow into a formal leadership role. And because great medicine requires continued learning, SAHO intentionally invests in its people. We strive to create a culture where our team members feel inspired, supported, and fulfilled in their work.

Employment with SAHO includes:

• Competitive compensation: $130,000-$150,000 base salary + production, based on experience
• Comprehensive health and wellness benefits
• 401(k) retirement savings
• Generous PTO and work-life balance
• Continuing education and professional development support
• Flexible scheduling options
• Access to mentorship, clinical growth, and career development opportunities across NVA
• Opportunities to explore future paths in leadership!

The Right Fit

You may be an experienced veterinarian who has discovered that wellness and client relationships are where you do your best work. Or you may be earlier in your career and already know that high-quality GP medicine is where you want to grow. Either way, we're looking for someone who values collaboration, communicates well with clients, and believes there is something pretty special about caring for a patient throughout their lifetime. As part of National Veterinary Associates, SAHO combines the culture and identity of a locally led hospital with access to broader resources, benefits, mentorship, continuing education, and career development opportunities.

If you're passionate about keeping pets healthy—not just treating them when they're sick—we'd love to meet you. Come help us build the next chapter of wellness care at SAHO Animal Hospitals.
