CNC Machinist

Adecco Staffing is currently hiring CNC Machinists for full-time, contract-to-hire positions in the Optical Fabrication Department of a leading manufacturer located in Keene, NH. 1. st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Pay: $22–$29/hour
2. nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM | Pay: $24–$32/hour

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire What You’ll Do: Set up and operate CNC diamond turning, grinding, or polishing machines Manufacture high-precision optical components according to engineering drawings and work instructions Perform precision measurements using metrology tools Manually clean optical surfaces with approved solvents and wipes Collect, analyze, and report production data using basic math and statistical knowledge Follow all safety protocols including use of PPE like safety glasses and latex gloves Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area What We’re Looking For: Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of machining experience in a production environment Proficient in setting up and running CNC machines Comfortable using computers for data entry and document review Skilled in using metrology equipment for inspecting precision components Strong English language skills (reading, writing, and verbal communication) Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Ability to lift or move objects up to 40 lbs May involve exposure to chemicals and solvents Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves Position requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks Pay Details: $22.00 to $32.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
