Job Summary:

The Remote Hospice Billing Supervisor will play a critical role in our billing operations, overseeing a team of billing specialists and ensuring the accurate and timely submission of claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payers.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of billing specialists, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient and accurate claim submission

• Develop and implement effective billing strategies to optimize revenue cycle management

• Analyze and report on billing metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

• Collaborate with other departments, including admissions, compliance, and medical records, to ensure seamless transitions and accurate billing

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance billing processes and patient satisfaction

• Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among team members

Experience:

Hospice Medicare, Commercial Payor and California R&B billing experience

Familiar with Inovalon clearing house

Familiar with R&B process in California
