Director, Infrastructure, Network and Telecommunication Services

The Director of Network andTelecommunication Services reports directly to the VP, IT INFRA Operations &CISO. This position is responsible for the management of the installation,testing, administration, training and maintenance related to all technologyinfrastructures at CapMetro including the data network, server and storagesystems, desktop/client systems, and the voice network, systems, and devices.Infrastructure Strategy & Governance • Provide strategic leadership forenterprise infrastructure by managing 24/7 support and optimization, definingarchitecture and standards, establishing policies and priorities, and drivingthe development and implementation of IT best practices.Network & Systems Management • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, andevolution of network hardware, servers, desktops, and operating systems whilemanaging WAN/LAN performance, security, and availability. • Ensure proactivesystem upkeep through alerts, tuning, updates, and patches; maintain complianceand security via monitoring and risk assessments; and implement robust backup,disaster recovery, and issue resolution processes.Ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in information technologyand network engineering, including six (6) years of management experiencemanaging either employees or projects. • Six (6) years to include experiencemanaging heterogeneous, diverse client/server distributed enterprise network andserver environments, other related projects, and management of informationtechnology personnel.10+ Years ExperienceFlower Mound, TX, (Full-Time)Software Development
