Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a dedicated Physical Therapist to work full-time throughout the academic year. This onsite role plays an essential part in helping students achieve their physical and educational goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy License (must be verifiable)
• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Prior experience in school-based, pediatric, or educational settings preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Proficient in using ECATS and Infinite Campus platforms or a willingness to learn
• Committed to providing all services onsite and engaging directly with students and staff

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement effective therapy interventions tailored to students’ individual needs, supporting their physical development and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service professionals to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation within school systems, including ECATS and Infinite Campus
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and help guide educational planning for students requiring physical therapy services
• Educate staff and families on strategies that enhance student mobility and accessibility within the school setting
