TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking Entry-Level to Experienced Welders for a direct-hire opportunity in Andrews, TX. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with welding knowledge or hands-on experience who are interested in building a long-term career in the oilfield and industrial manufacturing industry.

Candidates with experience in carbon steel welding, pipe welding, MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux Core welding are strongly encouraged to apply. Entry-level welders with technical school training, welding certifications, or hands-on welding experience are also encouraged to apply.

This position involves welding, fabrication, and assembly of carbon steel piping, vessels, and industrial components while following established quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on carbon steel piping, vessels, and industrial components.
• Utilize MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and/or Flux Core (FCAW) welding processes based on experience and job requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings to complete assigned projects.
• Prepare materials for welding through cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting.
• Perform welding operations to ensure proper weld penetration, alignment, and structural integrity.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Assist with pipe fitting, material preparation, and general fabrication duties.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and other fabrication equipment safely.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and established welding practices.
• Work independently or alongside experienced welders to complete production assignments.
• Perform additional shop and fabrication duties as needed.

Job Requirements

• Entry-level candidates with welding training or hands-on experience encouraged to apply.
• Experience with carbon steel welding preferred.
• Familiarity with MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux Core welding processes.
• Basic knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and fabrication procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols preferred.
• Previous pipe welding or oilfield fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to use grinders, cutting tools, and general fabrication equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. as needed.
• Must be available for overtime and weekend work when required.
• Must follow all workplace safety requirements.
• Steel-toed boots required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience welding carbon steel piping and industrial vessels.
• Experience with stainless steel or alloy welding.
• Experience with TIG, MIG, Stick, or Flux Core welding.
• Pipe welding experience in oilfield, industrial, or fabrication environments.
• Ability to perform welds in multiple positions, including 6G.
• Knowledge of ASME welding procedures and inspection standards.
• Previous welding certifications or completion of a welding trade school program.
