Description: Posting Job Description Lab Science Saves Lives: Laboratory Clerks Make It Possible Laboratory Clerk Typist - Allen Clinical Laboratory - Days Bring your talent and ambition to the world-renowned clinical laboratory at NewYork-Presbyterian/Allen Hospital, New York's #1-ranked hospital (U.S.News & World Report). Under the direction of a Supervisor, register patient test orders into the laboratory computer system. Perform a wide variety of clerical tasks in support of the department's requirements including accessioning and labeling specimens, filing, and data entry. Experience the fulfillment of Making It Possible. The schedule for this position is Mon-Fri 9a-5p, rotating Holidays and every other weekend.

Preferred Criteria
- 1 year of previous clerical experience
- Medical terminology background
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to type at least 25 WPM
