Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
This is a 13-week contract position for an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) working in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting with a strong foundation in general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN surgeries.
Shifts are scheduled as 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements including 2 late calls until 11 PM per week, and every 3rd to 4th weekend.
Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room.
Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and patient safety.
Monitor patients' vital signs and manage anesthesia during surgery.
Assist in the preparation and application of surgical instruments and equipment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting.
SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Trauma Level 3 experience preferred.
Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
