Genesys Cloud Services Inc. seeks Lead Software Engineer Media Services Group in Menlo Park CA. **Telecommuting allowed for this position.**

Job Description: Develop and deploy highly available fault-tolerant software that will help drive improvements towards the features reliability performance and efficiency of the Genesys Cloud platform. Work with development partners to shape the architecture design and implementations of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability performance efficiency and scalability. Design and implement major changes and new features. Identify bottlenecks and problems throughout the infrastructure. Actively review code and provide peer feedback. Provide coaching guidance and training to more junior development staff. Explain difficult concepts and influences colleagues below and above their level. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve pain points. Manages major technical projects involving delegation of work and review of products. Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as required. Telecommuting allowed for this position.

Minimum Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or foreign equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience in a computer-related occupation OR a Masters degree in Computer Science or related field (or foreign equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience in a computer-related occupation.

The position requires any amount of experience in ALL of the following skills:

• Experience with developing applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with REST-style web services and frameworks using Spring Boot.
• Experience with developing managing working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with networking concepts.
• Experience with AWS Cloud technologies.

Telecommuting allowed for this position. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education training or experience.

Salary range: $213512.00 - $223512.00

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidates experience qualifications skills and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
