Instructional Designer Active - FT New Staff Accrual FALLS CHURCH, VA, US 7 days ago Requisition ID: 1652 Salary Range: $64,691.44 To $80,864.30 Annually Position Overview Our valued client, Arlington Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU), is actively recruiting for an Instructional Designer to support staff and leadership development across the organization. In this role, you will design and develop engaging training content including eLearnings, in-person and virtual classroom instruction, job aids, and procedural documentation. This role requires a strong grasp of adult learning principles, experience with eLearning authoring tools, and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex content into learner-centered materials. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience; minimum two (2) years in instructional design and two (2) years in customer service training or a related environment. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE. Experience with eLearning authoring platforms (Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, or similar). Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS), including compliance training deployment. Proficiency in design and content creation tools such as Canva to develop visually engaging training materials, presentations, and job aids. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams) and experience creating content for databases, websites, or intranets. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to build engaging, effective training materials. Strong organization, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present and facilitate training at all levels of the organization. Experience working in or training for a financial institution preferred; Credit Union experience a plus. Experience with Symitar is a plus.
