Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Must have a vehicle for this assignment Description: Position will float between units to meet department needs. On-call is not required. Weekends are required, at least every other weekend. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient ratios are 1:4. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required. EPIC HRSTOP experience is required. First-timers can be accommodated if they have more than 2 years of experience. 48-hour work weeks are not approved. Travelers should be prepared to float to other units based on skill sets. Travelers may float to other facilities to meet patient care needs. Must be aware of a potential $5/hour incentive for floating to specific facilities. Client is a short-term acute care facility with 418 staffed beds. Diverse patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Position will include various emergency situations and procedures. Experience in managing medical boarders is preferred. Flex patient assignments based on workload intensity. Travelers often express interest in permanent positions. Two references covering one year of experience are required.
