Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time Night Shift

Schedule Requirements

11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required

Job Responsibilities

Provide direct care and support to residents
Assist residents with activities of daily living under the direction of nursing supervisors
Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
Serve and collect meal trays and assist residents with feeding as needed
Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output information as directed

Qualifications

Previous experience in healthcare with at least 1 year in long-term care experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, and move about in the work area and throughout the Home to accomplish tasks
Express and exchange ideas via spoken word conveying information to others in an audible, accurate, and quick manner
Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
Visual acuity to read, prepare, and analyze
Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force on occasions
Subject to temperature changes, but is generally not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions as the work is predominantly inside

Licensure

Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the Virginia Department of Health Professions
CPR certified
