Economic Development Director

Summary:The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the day-to-day operations and management of the Ute Mountain Tribal Economic Development Division, in accordance with the guidelines (fiscal, philosophical, and programmatic) established and approved by the Tribal Council. Manages, reviews and advises the Tribal council on public and private activities involving the economic development of the Tribe and to review and make a comprehensive plans for the purposes as to revenue and enterprise development of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related field.

· Preferred Masters Level Degree - MBA, MS Business

· Minimum of ten (10) years employment experience in Business administration, financial management or management.

· Preferred (5) years of working with a tribal government in the capacity of tribal administrator, financial manger, director, program manager or related position.

· Experience of business development both expansion and start-up.

· Working knowledge of Planning, Budgeting and Project programming and management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
