Employee focused.JOB SUMMARYONEOK is seeking an Accountant II to join the Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Operational Accounting team. Reporting to the NGL Operational Accounting Supervisor, this role is responsible for helping ensure the accuracy and completeness of operational accounting volumes and financial activity.Key responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of operational accounting processes through timely inventory reconciliations, analysis of asset activity, resolution of discrepancies, and validation of volumes and dollars. This position requires ownership of assigned processes, a strong understanding of NGL operations, and proactive collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.The successful candidate will accurately record and analyze activity in RightAngle, work effectively across multiple systems, communicate clearly and professionally, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and development. The role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a focus on identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.This is a hybrid position based in Tulsa, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.Job Profile SummaryPerforms intermediate level of financial activities; analyzes and prepares related studies and reports for use in various accounting functions.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and/or prepare journal entries, reports, budgets, and records related to financial accounting, gas accounting, or economic forecasting/budgetingPerform calculations and/or analyses including but not limited to:InterestCash flowFinancial ratiosPressure base/Btu conversionsDiscountsVariancesDepreciations (book/tax)Projections/forecastsAssist in development and maintenance of applicable spreadsheet models and/or distributed applications such as those used in finance and other accounting activitiesCompile, verify, and/or prepare financial information including but not limited to:Forecasted versus actual expensesGovernmental/regulatory reportsInvoicesFinancial reportsReconciliation reportsQuarterly income statementsProvide information and assistance to employees from governmental and/or regulatory agencies, auditing firms, management, and others concerning accounting processes and various financial reportsEducationBachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or other related field with previous experience working in various accounting functions or equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience: AccountingWork ExperienceExperience with and knowledge of generally accepted accounting methods and proceduresExperience performing an intermediate level of accounting activities such as financial accounting, property accounting, account classification, or gas accountingExperience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable softwareExperience and/or training related to:Financial accounting and reporting standards and processes (specified by position)Economic forecasting/modeling and corporate budget functions (specified by position)Gas accounting activities and terminology (specified by position)Communication/interpersonal skillsExperience researching, composing, reconciling, and preparing reports, invoices, studies, and correspondence applicable to positionExperience reading and interpreting company correspondence, reports, accounting-related publications, income statements, contracts, ledgers, manuals, computer printouts, and legal documentsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to: interact, advise and communicate effectivelyAbility to: develop and present information to individuals and groupsAbility to: communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentationsAbility to: apply math, algebra, and statistical methodsLicenses and CertificationsNone requiredStrength Factor Rating - Physical Demands/RequirementsSedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
