Financial Analyst II

Are you an experienced Financial Analyst who enjoys digging into the numbers, identifying trends, and helping leaders understand the story behind the financials? We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst II to support financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis for a large healthcare organization in Tulsa. This position will work directly with department and service-line leaders and serve as a key resource for finance-related questions and decision-making. What You' ll Do Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses Review monthly actual-to-budget results and identify trends, variances, concerns, and opportunities Assist department leaders with annual operating budgets and financial planning Review budget submissions for accuracy and reasonableness Participate in budget planning meetings with departmental leadership Perform financial analysis during month-end and close processes Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations Prepare and post journal entries according to established deadlines Compile and analyze financial information used for financial statement review and management reporting Perform grant-related pre- and post-award financial functions, including revenue and expense analysis, accounting, reporting, and reconciliations Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies with appropriate departments Prepare complex financial reports and clearly communicate findings to leadership Serve as a go-to resource for finance-related questions from service-line and departmental leaders Participate in special projects and additional financial initiatives as assigned What We' re Looking For Bachelor’ s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Minimum 2 years of related financial analysis experience Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills Experience analyzing actual-to-budget results and explaining financial variances Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong understanding of financial statements, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries Ability to analyze complex financial information and make recommendations to leadership Excellent communication and presentation skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Preferred Qualifications CPA preferred Experience with Epic or Workday Experience with budget preparation and analysis PowerPoint skills for financial reporting and presentations Healthcare financial analysis experience is a plus Why Consider This Opportunity?
