Mill Pond is seeking Part Time Cooks to join our team!

Available Shifts:

11:15am-7:45pm

3:30pm-8:00pm

5:30am-2:00pm

Must be able to work every other weekend on rotation

Complete with walkways and waterfalls, Mill Pond is situated on five acres south of First Street, just off of Delaware Avenue in Ankeny. Nearby Interstate 35 provides convenient access to all Polk County amenities and the greater Des Moines area. Showcasing a complete array of senior living options all under one roof, Mill Pond's choices include senior apartments, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.

Responsibilities

The Cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.

• Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations strong desired.

• Demonstrated compatibility PHS's mission and operating philosophies.

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
