About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage its financial function. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including management reporting, financial strategy, planning and analysis, accounting, control, treasury, tax, risk management, financial systems, and internal audit. A key aspect of the role is to support the company's growth plans, particularly in the integration of new acquisitions, and to develop a robust reporting package for the private equity sponsor. The successful candidate will also be expected to drive operational efficiency and corporate valuation in the long term. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have an undergraduate degree, with a CPA, M.B.A., or other relevant degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in business unit and corporate financial roles is required, with a strong preference for those who have previously served as a successful CFO. The role demands solid technical financial skills, particularly in GAAP and cost accounting, and experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food-related. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a thin margin business or PE environment, and experience in a growth environment, both organic and by acquisition. Strong leadership, management, and process skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a culture change context and with private equity partners. The CFO should be strategic, results-oriented, and highly analytical, with a strong focus on driving financial discipline and being hands-on during the transformation period.
