About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strategic mindset to oversee its finance and accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all financial activities, serving as a key advisor to the executive team, and driving financial performance, growth, and risk management. This role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and long-term financial planning, as well as directing construction accounting, managing audits, and leading the finance and accounting team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in the commercial construction industry. The role requires a professional with a strong background in construction accounting, job costing, WIP, forecasting, and cash flow management. Experience with a $100M+ commercial general contractor or building subcontractor is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading finance teams, partnering with executive and operational leadership, and supporting strategic initiatives such as acquisitions and financing. A CPA, MBA, or advanced degree in finance or accounting is preferred, along with a history of strong career progression and long-term tenure with previous employers.
