Lead the Night Shift that Keeps Drivers Moving

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., has been fueling independent tire retailers, repair shops, and dealerships for more than a century. As our Warehouse Operations Lead, you’ll guide a team through the overnight flow of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants—keeping products moving safely and accurately.

A night in the role

Sunday through Thursday at 11:45pm, you gear up with your safety vest and boots and meet the team for a quick huddle. You review inbound and outbound goals, align on e-commerce orders and will-call priorities, then climb into a forklift or order picker to start the night. You’ll scan, stow, and pick inventory; load and unload trailers; and work confidently at heights in aisles that reach up to 25 feet. Throughout the shift, you coach new hires, support Operation Leaders by directing task flow, and jump in on cycle counts to keep inventory tight—making adjustments for returns and shortages as needed. By 8:30am, trucks are rolling out, counts are squared away, and the team heads home.

What you’ll do

• Operate industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers) to load, unload, stock, and move tires and auto parts in a high-velocity warehouse
• Use handheld scanners for accurate put-away, picking, and inventory control
• Lift 50 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs on occasion; team-lift or use mechanical assist for commercial tires
• Exert up to 40 lbs of pushing force when working with barrels or industrial/ag tires
• Work safely at heights up to 25 feet using appropriate equipment
• Stay on your feet throughout the shift and work overtime as needed; schedules may change with business demand
• Onboard and train new team members; provide nightly direction in partnership with Operation Leaders
• Conduct cycle counts; support inventory integrity through adjustments, returns, and shortage resolution
• Assist with e-commerce order fulfillment and will-call customer needs

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 11:45pm–8:30am. Schedules may change based on business needs and could include overtime.

Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentPhysical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be qualified as to visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must frequently lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Occasionally exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) conduct team lifts or use mechanical equipment. Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness , seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots. All team members must be able to adhere with safety and manufacture guidelines for compliant use of all protective equipment.Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.
