Accounts Payable Clerk

Saturna Capital Corporation, a Bellingham, Washington-based independent investment advisor founded in 1989, manages over $8 billion in assets and serves as adviser to the Amana Mutual Funds Trust — the oldest and largest family of Sharia-compliant mutual funds in the United States. We are hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team on-site in Bellingham. This is a full-time position focused on end-to-end accounts payable operations. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursement requests through the full AP cycle Review and verify invoice accuracy and supporting documentation Enter invoice data into accounting systems with meticulous attention to detail Prepare and execute payment runs using checks, ACH transfers, and electronic payment methods Reconcile corporate credit card statements with receipts and supporting documentation Provide general accounting department support as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounts payable or accounting/financial reporting experience Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Additional Requirements Within the first nine months of employment, you must successfully obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 certifications Candidates must pass pre-employment screening including logic/aptitude testing, comprehensive background check, credit check, and reference verification Compensation and Benefits Full-time, on-site position in Bellingham, WA.
