Position Details: Account Specialist Hybrid- Bannockburn, IL Location: Hybrid Local candidates to Bannockburn, IL preferred Project Duration: 5 months contract Pay Rate: $35 to $38/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities: Assist Account Executives/Brokers on assigned accounts related to commercial risk business activities. Identify and retrieve compliance documentation necessary to process renewals, invoices, surplus lines filing, and other client deliverables. Support renewal initiation, invoice processing, issuing auto IDs, emergency certificates, endorsements, vehicle suspensions, and other client requests. Resolve premium account discrepancies and support post-placement account activities. React to field office requests through Broker Desktop tools in a timely manner. Ensure Bridge & Broker Desktop system records are accurate and current. Liaise with outsourced service providers to ensure timely and quality outputs. Upload, index, and attach documents in the Document Management System. Perform pre-renewal account reviews with the field office to ensure accuracy of deliverables and timelines. Create policy summaries, schedules of insurance, calculate premium allocations, and conduct quality reviews of post-placement outputs. Mentor junior staff with more complex account functions. Participate in office and client visits and assist with special client projects.

Required Experience: Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external clients. Understanding of operational processes and methodologies with the ability to work effectively with moderate supervision. Strong MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel and Word; V-Lookup experience is a plus. Ability to multi-task and react quickly in a fast-paced, output-driven environment. Must maintain an appropriate insurance broker license or obtain one within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of industry experience.
