Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounting team. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently while partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger accounts and perform monthly account reconciliations. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes. Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports. Reconcile bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting activity as needed. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and efficiency. Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records. Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 3–7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting. Experience with month-end and year-end close processes. Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis. Experience with ERP/accounting systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA eligibility is a plus. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience improving accounting processes and internal controls.
