Position Summary Cathedral City is seeking an exceptional Police Chief to lead the Cathedral City Police Department. The Chief will manage 82.5 sworn and non‑sworn personnel with a $21M budget, ensure public safety, and maintain one of the lowest crime rates in the Coachella Valley. Key Priorities Community Oriented Policing – Evaluate policies that increase community engagement and build trust. Recruitment & Retention – Develop strategies to attract and keep qualified staff. Technology & Innovation – Advance technology initiatives supporting officer and community safety, including DFR and the Coachella Valley Real Time Intelligence Center.
