Director of Real Estate Operations

Vista Investments is a privately held, vertically integrated hospitality investment, development, and operating platform. We acquire, develop, and operate hotel assets across high-barrier markets on the West Coast, combining institutional discipline with hands-on operational execution to drive long-term value. Role Overview We are seeking a high-potential professional to join as Director of Real Estate Operations, supporting the performance and strategic oversight of our growing West Coast hotel portfolio. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2–4 years of experience and an MBA who is ready to step up into a broader, more strategic position with direct exposure to ownership, portfolio-level decision-making, and on-the-ground operations. The position sits at the intersection of asset management and operations, working closely with General Managers and executive leadership to drive financial and operational performance across multiple properties. Key Responsibilities Work closely with General Managers across multiple properties to monitor performance, implement initiatives, and drive accountability Support oversight of financial and operational performance across the portfolio Analyze property-level financials, including P&L, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports Track key KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, GOP, etc.) and identify performance gaps Identify opportunities to improve NOI, operational efficiency, and revenue performance Support execution of capital improvement projects (CapEx) and repositioning initiatives Conduct periodic site visits to evaluate property performance and support on-site teams Monitor brand standards and ensure operational consistency across assets Prepare performance reports and presentations for executive leadership Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Operations teams Qualifications MBA required 2–4 years of professional experience, preferably in hospitality, or commercial real estate Experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or food & beverage strongly preferred Strong analytical and financial skills, with ability to interpret operational and financial data Demonstrated potential to take on increased responsibility and grow into a leadership role Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Willingness to travel within California (approximately 25–30% travel) Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) Performance-based bonus opportunity Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Exposure to both investment and operational sides of hospitality Significant growth opportunities within an expanding platform #J-18808-Ljbffr Vista Investments, LLC
