Real Estate Manager

Join a rapidly growing developer, owner, and operator of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across the United States. We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager, Real Estate to lead land and real estate activities supporting utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, and data center developments. About the Role This position is responsible for managing site control, title review and curative work, real estate due diligence, financing support, and real property transactions throughout the project lifecycle—from development and construction through operations. The successful candidate will partner closely with development, legal, finance, and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate real estate risks while ensuring projects remain on schedule. Key Responsibilities Lead site control efforts, including options, leases, purchase agreements, easements, and related land agreements. Analyze title commitments, surveys, and real estate due diligence materials; identify and resolve title and property issues. Coordinate with title companies, outside counsel, consultants, and landowners to support project development and financing milestones. Manage real estate closings, including acquisitions and financing-related transactions. Support project financing activities by delivering real estate-related requirements and closing deliverables. Partner with development, legal, grid integration, and capital markets teams on real estate matters throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee external consultants and legal counsel, including scope development, contract management, and quality review. Support real estate portfolio management, compliance, risk mitigation, and asset management activities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, government agencies, brokers, and industry stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, paralegal studies, or legal background preferred. J.D. strongly preferred. Minimum 8 years of professional experience in real estate, title, land management, renewable energy, data center development, or related fields. At least 5 years of experience in real estate/title or energy infrastructure development. Strong understanding of real property transactions, title insurance, surveys, easements, and site control agreements. Experience supporting projects through financial close and working with lenders, investors, and financing requirements. Prior experience in utility-scale renewable energy and/or data center development strongly preferred. Knowledge of major U.S. power markets and project development processes is highly desirable. Exceptional contract negotiation, risk management, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
