Field Service Engineer 2H (Medical Device) (Sacramento, CA based Field role))
Haemonetics Corporation
Field Service Engineer supporting blood management centers and hospitals with on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Haemonetics medical devices. Role requires 5-8 years of medical device service experience, extensive travel (75%), and residency near Chicago or Minneapolis.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems in assigned territory
- Respond to service requests and manage customer satisfaction as primary point of contact
- Provide on-site technical training and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance
- Manage service parts inventory and complete documentation in SFDC same day
- Edit and modify service manuals, standard operating procedures, and training materials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5-8 years of medical device repair and field service experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 75% of the time
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience troubleshooting software and IT systems
- Technical writing and documentation capabilities
- Experience working in regulated environments
