Job title : Product Engineer - Electronics Systems

Client : Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration : 24 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Location : Horicon, WI 53032

Shift : 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST)

Description:

Develop electrical systems for riding lawn mowers and compact utility tractors.
Design, test, and validate electrical hardware and software solutions.
Create and release vehicle wiring harnesses and electrical systems.
Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Work with suppliers on component development and integration.
Support vehicle builds and production activities.
Participate in design reviews and cross-functional engineering projects.
Prepare technical documentation and engineering specifications.
Improve engineering processes and support product development.
Travel up to 10% as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of vehicle electrical system design, testing, or integration.
Experience with wiring harnesses, electrical schematics, and components.
Understanding of hardware/software interaction.
Experience managing engineering project deliverables.
Knowledge of product development processes.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to support off-shift production when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Off-highway or agricultural vehicle experience.
Experience creating and maintaining BOMs.
Experience with 3D CAD tools for electrical systems.
Knowledge of embedded software validation (SIL/HiL).
Project management experience.
Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
Familiarity with systems engineering practices.
Advanced engineering training or related experience.
