Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent

Platinum Shield Insurance is launching a new independent insurance agency focused on providing homeowners and related property and casualty insurance solutions to a large, established base of mortgage clients.

We are looking for an experienced, licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join us at the ground level and play a key role in launching and growing the agency.

This is not a traditional cold-calling insurance position. The agency is being built alongside an established mortgage operation that generates a significant volume of homeowners who already have an immediate need for insurance. The agent will work primarily with inbound opportunities and warm referrals generated through our existing mortgage business.

What You'll Do

• Quote and bind homeowners and other applicable P&C insurance policies

• Work directly with clients to identify appropriate coverage and competitive premiums

• Handle inbound insurance opportunities and warm referrals from our mortgage team

• Shop multiple insurance carriers to find competitive coverage options

• Communicate with loan officers, processors, clients, and insurance carriers to keep transactions moving efficiently

• Help resolve insurance-related issues that could affect a client's mortgage qualification or closing

• Assist with the initial launch and development of Platinum Shield Insurance

• Help establish efficient quoting, binding, documentation, and client follow-up processes

• Maintain compliance with applicable state insurance regulations and carrier requirements

• Provide a high level of service while developing long-term client relationships and retention

 

What We're Looking For

• Active Property & Casualty insurance producer license in AZ

• Prior experience selling homeowners insurance

• Experience quoting and binding policies with multiple insurance carriers

• Strong understanding of homeowners coverage, deductibles, replacement cost, underwriting requirements, and related P&C products

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage a high volume of incoming opportunities

• Mortgage, real estate, independent agency, or multi-carrier experience is a major plus

• Experience helping launch or grow an insurance agency is highly preferred

 

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission and bonus opportunities ($85k-125k)

Compensation will be structured to reward both production and the long-term growth of the agency.
