Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position in Rome, New York. This role involves providing patient care to adult and geriatric populations on a step-down unit with a focus on adult and geriatric patient needs. The position requires adherence to facility-specific protocols and standards, and is suitable for nurses with experience in step-down or telemetry units.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active registered nurse license; 1-2 years of experience in step-down or telemetry nursing; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); located in or willing to commute to Rome, NY
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically Paragon and Pxyis
- Additional Information: Facility fixed notes should be reviewed for specific operational details and protocols.
