Pet Visitation Volunteers Needed - Aegis Hospice

Aegis Hospice believes in creating special moments every day, and the first time you see a patient light up at the sight of your animal, you'll know you made the right choice to join our growing team of compassionate volunteers.
What We're Looking For
Do you have a pet that is:
- Gentle with people
- Loves meeting new friends
- Comfortable in new environments
- Well-behaved and responsive to your guidance
If so, we'd be delighted to meet both of you!
The Impact You'll Make
Pet visitation volunteers bring immeasurable comfort to hospice patients during their most vulnerable moments. Your furry companion can:
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Bring smiles and laughter to patients and families
- Offer a sense of normalcy and connection
- Create precious memories during difficult times

Pet Visitation Animals are required to have a Good Canine Citizenship Certificate through the AKA. We offer free testing. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator for additional information.
