Volunteer Landscaper for Hospice Patients - Mow with Meaning
United Hospice & Palliative Care of Arizona
When someone is receiving hospice care, even simple household tasks can become overwhelming for patients and families. A well-kept yard can offer peace, dignity, and one less worry during a difficult time.
We are seeking compassionate Volunteer Landscapers to help maintain the yards of hospice patients in our community. By donating your time and skills, you provide comfort, relief, and kindness when it is needed most.
What You’ll Do
- Mow lawns
- Trim hedges and bushes
- Rake leaves and remove light debris
- Perform basic yard clean-up and maintenance
(No heavy landscaping or construction required)
Time Commitment
- Flexible scheduling
- Typically 1–2 hours per visit
- Opportunities are offered based on patient need and your availability
Skills & Requirements
- Experience with basic yard work or landscaping
- Access to your own tools is helpful but not always required
- Ability to work independently
- Compassion, reliability, and respect for patient privacy
