Anesthesia Technician

Providence Health and Services Orange, CA Full Time | Part Time Anesthesia Technician at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. Positions available are Full-Time and Part-Time and may include 12‑hour day and 8‑hour variable shifts. Schedule options can be discussed during interview. Anesthesia Technician assists the anesthesiologist in clinical settings such as the operating room, labor and delivery, interventional and diagnostic radiology, endoscopy, and ambulatory surgery suites. The technician must have thorough knowledge of the set‑up, operation, and troubleshooting of anesthesia delivery systems, monitors, and ancillary devices, and demonstrate practical knowledge and expertise in all general areas of anesthesia, guidelines, policies and safety requirements as determined by regulatory compliance organizations. Required Qualifications: National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists Program (ASATT). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year of experience as an anesthesia technician.
