We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Bilingual Payroll / HR Assistant to support payroll processing and human resources functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Athens, TX. The ideal candidate will be discreet, organized, and able to handle confidential information while providing support to employees and management.

Bilingual Payroll HR Assistant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $23.00 to $25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday )

Payroll duties:

• Process weekly payroll and employee pay records.
• Maintain payroll data, deductions, and benefits information.
• Generate payroll reports and supporting documentation.
• Track leave balances and payroll adjustments.
• Assist with paycheck distribution and employee inquiries. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Human Resources duties:

• Maintain employee personnel and benefits records.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding activities.
• Process new hire paperwork and employee status changes.
• Track vacation accruals and attendance records.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and annual renewals.
• Manage workers' compensation files and incident records.

Bilingual Payroll HR Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be Bilingual in English/ Spanish
• 1+ year of payroll, HR, or administrative experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Payroll software experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented and team-focused.
