We defend clients across Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas-Fort Worth, and we take cases to trial. We are hiring a Senior Criminal Defense Attorney to take first-chair responsibility from day one, with an active docket in Travis, Williamson, and surrounding counties. We are moving fast and plan to make an offer by mid-July. What we offer Base salary of $150,000 to $165,000, plus annual and other performance bonuses Health and dental coverage, bar dues, CLEs, and mileage reimbursement Your own assigned paralegal and the best AI tools in the legal industry, so your time goes to the courtroom instead of paperwork What you'll do Own your cases from intake to resolution: strategy, counseling, and courtroom work Draft and argue pretrial motions, including motions to suppress Try cases first-chair: pick the jury, give the openings and closings, examine the witnesses Negotiate with prosecutors from a position of strength; you used to sit in their chair What you'll need An active Texas bar license in good standing Experience as a felony prosecutor or Assistant District Attorney Years of criminal litigation experience, including felonies and complex cases A plus: Western District of Texas admission, high-volume docket experience, DWI and license hearing work What happens next Apply with your LinkedIn profile.
