MUST BE FLUENT/BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH

Minimum 2 years of experience in criminal law (defense or prosecution) Previous experience in Central Texas Counties courts, including Travis County, Hays County, and Williamson County, etc. is a plus Any additional experience with Spanish-speaking clients is highly favorable JD degree and admission to the State Bar of Texas is required Strong oral advocacy skills with a preference for prior litigation experience Ability to work independently and in a high volume, fast-paced environment Ability to manage your own docket with limited supervision Ability to work well with people of diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds Valid driver’s license - travel to jails and detention centers within Central Texas will be necessary on a regular basis Benefits Retirement plan Health insurance reimbursement Health savings account Health savings account match Sedera (Medical Cost Sharing Community) Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) 401(k) matching Additional Salary Information: Job includes performance bonuses, jail release fees, paid time off, health insurance and health insurance reimbursement, and 401k.
