Job Summary

Fortune 500 banking company is seeking an Incentive Compensation Business Analyst in Minneapolis, MN. This role supports the implementation and enhancement of incentive compensation solutions, including Varicent and related commission management platforms, within a financial services environment

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate incentive compensation and product requirements into detailed data specifications, including field mappings, transformations, validation rules, and data definitions.
- Analyze and validate data inputs and outputs to ensure accuracy, identify risks, and support data quality across compensation systems.
- Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to support solution design, system implementation, integrations, and enterprise data onboarding.
- Create and maintain business requirements documents, process flows, functional specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Support testing activities, including UAT, reconciliation, data validation, issue tracking, and resolution within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- 5+ years of Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or related experience.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, and data specifications.
- Strong data analysis, data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation experience.
- Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, enterprise transformation projects, or data onboarding initiatives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, documentation skills, and ability to identify data or process risks.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Varicent or another Incentive Compensation Management platform.
- Experience with sales compensation, commissions, incentive compensation, quota management, or compensation plan administration.
- Experience with platforms such as Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, SAP Commissions, or Callidus.
- Knowledge of SQL, data integration, data governance, reporting tools, or enterprise data management concepts.
- Experience supporting UAT, data quality initiatives, reconciliation processes, and production issue resolution.
