Senior Tax Accountant (CPA Certified)

Overview We are currently looking to add progressive Senior Tax Accountant to our Tax team. The ideal candidate will be a team player first and foremost and help our tax department grow! We are looking for Tax Senior Associates to join our expanding Tax Department. The ideal candidate is a CPA or a CPA candidate with 2 plus years public accounting experience, including at least 2 busy seasons and mandatory tax experience. Tax experience ranging from individual and corporate tax knowledge and tax planning, research, review, consulting, and IRS examinations is needed. Outstanding technical ability and oral and written communication skills are a must. Responsibilities Prepare complex individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns. Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters. Identify tax planning opportunities. Handle and resolve tax controversies. Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines. Provide supervision, training and support to the engagement staff and promote open communication to the engagement partner and manager. Requirements Bachelor\'s or Master\'s in Tax, Accounting or related field. CPA or CPA Candidate (120 hours completed). 2 plus years public accounting experience, including at least 2 busy seasons. 2 plus years Tax accounting experience is mandatory. Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude are essential. Exceptional client service and communication skills. Develops and maintains outstanding client relationships. Ability to manage multiple engagements in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
