Full-Time Bookkeeper – The Color House

Location: Rhode Island
Position: Full-Time

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Excel and is highly proficient in QuickBooks .

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bookkeeping functions including A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
• Process invoices, payments, and vendor statements
• Prepare and update financial reports using Excel (must be advanced level)
• Track expenses and assist with monthly and year-end close
• Reconcile discrepancies and ensure data accuracy across systems
• Support internal reporting and assist leadership with financial insights

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
