Our organization is in search of a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with experience to join our physician-led medical team at the Advocate Aurora Lakeland Medical Center located in Elkhorn, WI.

Job Overview

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position at 1.0 FTE

• Annual salary of $392,549, plus competitive incentives, including a 20% bonus for night shifts

• 11 shifts per month, each lasting 12 hours

• Supported by 3 Advanced Practice Providers and a skilled nursing staff

• Dual physician coverage at both hospital locations

• Virtual triage managed by a Physician Assistant during peak hours

• Work in a newly established Emergency Department

Hospital Locations

• Provide care across two community-oriented hospitals: Lakeland and Burlington

• Both facilities are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Academic & Teaching Opportunities

• Engage with Family Medicine Residents

• Involve medical students from Des Moines University and UW–Madison

• Work with PA students from UW–Madison and contribute to the Early Clinical Experience program

Additional Information

• Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient management

• Spanish or sign language proficiency is beneficial but not mandatory

• Access DAX Copilot, an AI-driven clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, to enhance clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for quick review and approval
