Help Desk Specialist | Springfield, IL

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and resolve common desktop and application problems
Respond to users through in-person communication, phone, email, and a ticketing system
Training Room proctoring
Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
Escalate more complex technical issues when appropriate
Provide timely, professional, and customer-focused support

What You'll Need

Previous help desk, desktop support, technical support, or related IT experience preferred
Familiarity with Windows-based systems and common business applications
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
IT-related education, certifications, or technical training are a plus

Location: Springfield, IL
Pay: $20-$25/hour
Length: 6-month contract
