About the Position

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care CST Client License: NBSTA Certifications: DORA, BLS Description: Travel position for CST in the Operating Room. Working hours from 7 AM to 5 PM. The main operating room consists of 23 ORs. The staff includes approximately 70 team members. Day shift staffing typically includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. Evening shift will have a 1:1 patient ratio. Required equipment includes OREM, Meditech, and CPNT. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months current experience in acute care. Experience in orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, plastics, GYN, robotics, or urology cases is preferred. Candidates with these skills will be considered first. Flexibility and a focus on patient care are a priority. Call is required with a 30-minute response time. On-call duties involve 2nd call on some weekends and potentially 1st call for 1-2 shifts. The work environment focuses on elective cases and teamwork without trauma cases.
