Position Overview:St. Patrick's School in Mauston is seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Education Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits among students. Physical Education Class is held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education curriculum aligned with school standards
- Promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork through a variety of activities
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and encouragement
- Maintain a safe and organized environment for all physical activities
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support overall student development
- Organize and support school athletic events and extracurricular activities as needed
- Recess duty 2 days a week
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or teaching field
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for working with children and promoting healthy lifestyles
- Commitment to the values and mission of a faith-based school environment
- Previous teaching experience in a school setting
- Experience coaching or leading extracurricular sports programs
